There are 6 separate sizes, and the material used in crafting the compact machine determines the volume of the cubical room contained inside the compact machine. The base component for crafting any size compact machine is the world resizing is the World Resizing Cube. Also, in the world save file for your Minecraft world, the Compact Machines' dimension is stored in the CompactMachines folder. The inside of the Compact Machine room is always chunk loaded, but players will have to chunk load the Overworld chunk the machine is in for it to be able to interact with the Overworld. It is to be noted that the compact machine rooms themselves are all stored in a separate dimension from the Overworld. the target machine must never have been entered before. You cannot entangle two used machines, i.e. Both Compact Machine Blocks must be upgraded by right clicking with a nether star before entangling them.

You can also make two separate machines linked to the same Compact Machines room using a Quantum Entangler.

To enter in and out of the Compact Machine, the player will need a Personal Shrinking Device. Applied Energistics channels, ProjectRed bundled cables and OpenComputers cables are supported as well.
